Avalocorp (formerly AMT Avalúos) (“Avalocorp”, “we”) provides professional property appraisal services in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela, including the Appvaluos mobile application. The Appvaluos app is developed and published on Google Play by WEB_RES STUDIO, Avalocorp's internal developer responsible for the Appvaluos application. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect in Appvaluos and across our services, how we use it, and your rights.

It applies to: (i) our website (avalocorp.com), where you can request an appraisal; (ii) our mobile application Appvaluos, used internally by our appraisers and authorized staff to perform on-site valuations; and (iii) our platform, accessed by banks and clients to view the appraisals they request and the status of their processes. The application is not intended for the general public.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to deliver our valuation services:

  • Account and contact data: name, email address, and phone number.
  • Request data: appraisal type, country, and the property's characteristics and address you enter in the form.
  • Precise location (GPS): in the mobile app, during on-site visits, to geo-reference the property being appraised. Captured only with your permission.
  • Camera, photos, and files: in the app, to document the property and digitize supporting documents (OCR) for the report.
  • Device identifiers: a push-notification token to send relevant service alerts.
  • Technical and usage data: device type, activity and error logs, for security and service improvement.

2. How we use the information

  • Provide and manage the appraisal services you request.
  • Coordinate and record on-site property visits.
  • Generate valuation reports with photographic and geographic support.
  • Communicate with you and send notifications related to your request.
  • Comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
  • Ensure security and prevent misuse.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when necessary:

  • Technology providers acting under contract, such as cloud storage (Amazon Web Services) and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging, by Google).
  • The client or institution that requests the appraisal, as part of delivering the contracted report.
  • Competent authorities when required by law.

4. Data retention

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet the legal obligations applicable in each country. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

5. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, and protected storage) to safeguard your information. No system is completely infallible, but we work to minimize risks.

6. Your rights, deactivation, and record retention

You may request access to or correction of your data, and revoke device permissions (for example, location or camera) from your settings.

For legal, regulatory, and historical-integrity reasons, appraisal reports and associated records are retained permanently and cannot be deleted. Upon request, we can deactivate an authorized user's account (staff or client institution): it will lose access to the platform, but records remain stored as required by applicable law.

7. Children

Our services are intended for individuals and businesses; they are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. International transfers

We operate across several countries and use global providers, so your data may be processed outside your country of residence, always with appropriate safeguards.

We may update this policy. The current version will be posted on this page with its update date.
